In buttock enhancement by fat injection, Dr Simoni uses gentle liposuction to
remove fat cells from a donor site (often the thighs, abdomen, back, or hips)
and then injects those cells into the buttocks. The injections will mostly be in
the upper area of the butt to re-create perkiness and lift.
Since this procedure involves moving fat from another area of the patient's body, it provides the additional body sculpting effect of reducing the fat in those areas where it is unwanted. The buttocks are then sculpted to its best proportion and volume using the injected fat. Unlike implants which will maintain their initial form.

The procedure typically takes about an hour and a half to two hours and is performed under local anesthesia. Because the fat cells come from the patient's own body, the injection carries no risk of the body rejecting the implanted cells, which is not the case with buttock implants.
Butt Augmentation Healing
The healing process for buttock enhancement is minimal in comparison to implants as well. The patient is able to return to work within a couple of days and begin resuming full activity within two weeks. Note though, that after the procedure some swelling will occur, and then subside. Many patients will believe that the fat that was transferred has gone down when it was just natural swelling. Due to this it will take about 3 months before the actual results can be seen finalized.
Butt Augmentation Scars
Buttock enhancement by fat injection is a somewhat less invasive procedure, preferred by most patients who wish to re-sculpt their physique to an enhanced, yet natural-looking proportion. The small incisions allow for less scarring as well. The procedure is best for candidates that are of a slightly larger size due to the transfer of fat. Thin patients will most likely not have a sufficient amount of fat to spare.
